Classroom Incentive – Artist of the Month
The artist of the month is as simple as it sounds! However, there may be many artists of the month! Artists of the month may be chosen for an art project or really nice handwriting! Sometimes I would choose one or two artists a week. I keep track of who is chosen as the artist of the month to make sure at some point everyone was the artist of the month.
I had some requirements to getting picked to be the artist of the month.
- Their art had to have 5 colors.
- Their art had to have 5 details. (This may be a requirement later in the year)
- They had to do their best work.
- They couldn’t be done until the music stopped playing on the iPad. I used the iPad as a timer for work time during art projects.
